The NFL world was excited for the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons, hoping to see a back-and-forth battle between two up-and-coming teams.

While the Falcons won convincingly, this game didn’t end up being as exciting as many expected.

Only one touchdown was scored in this game, courtesy of Tyler Allgeier of the Falcons, with the rest of the points for both teams coming off of field goals.

Allgeier might have scored, but it was Bijan Robinson who stole the show and put the Falcons in a strong position to win.

Robinson finished the night with 22 rushing attempts, which he turned into 143 yards on the ground, also adding three catches for 25 receiving yards.

He has proven to be a vital part of this roster, picking up the slack if there are any miscues from the quarterback position.

Jonathan Jones talked about this in a recent appearance on the “NFL on CBS,” comparing him to two other elite backs.

“Bijan Robinson is as important to the Atlanta Falcons as Saquon Barkley is to the Eagles and Christian McCaffrey is to the 49ers,” Jones said.

As Jones mentioned, the Falcons have come to rely heavily on Robinson, a player who provides great value in so many parts of his game.

Michael Penix Jr. is still working through some growing pains as a young quarterback in this league, but if he starts to put it together and the Falcons’ offense gets even better in that respect, Robinson’s ceiling could be even higher.
