Aaron Rodgers Could Reach Rare QB Milestone Against Vikings

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have a lot to play for on Sunday morning.
Not only will they strive to get to 3-1 and keep proving that they can be a contender, but they will also look to put on a show in front of one of their most beloved fan bases overseas.
Art Rooney’s Irish roots have helped the team build a strong following in Ireland, and there will be plenty of black-and-yellow jerseys and terrible towels there.
More than that, this game will also give Aaron Rodgers an opportunity to make history.
As pointed out by Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, the legendary quarterback can become just the second quarterback in NFL history to throw 60 or more touchdowns against multiple franchises:
“Quarterback Aaron Rodgers faces the Vikings again on Sunday. And the game gives him a chance to tie a very specific all-time record. He has thrown 59 touchdown passes against Minnesota. With one touchdown pass in Dublin, he’ll be the second quarterback in NFL history to throw 60 or more touchdown passes against multiple franchises. Rodgers has 64 against the Bears. Tom Brady threw 60-plus touchdown passes against three teams: the Bills, the Dolphins, and the Jets,” Florio wrote.
Rodgers has infamously claimed to ‘own’ the Chicago Bears, and, truth be told, it’s hard to disagree with that statement, all things considered.
However, the Vikings aren’t that far behind.
For years, Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers had the NFC North in a chokehold, and while that didn’t always translate to postseason success, he has a legitimate case for being the single greatest quarterback in division history.
The Steelers have been up and down to start the season, and so has Rodgers.
It’s hard to make something out of this team and figure out what version of them you’re going to get on a weekly basis.
But with Rodgers’ record against his former divisional rivals, they should feel pretty confident ahead of kickoff on Sunday morning.
