Julian Edelman Reveals Honest Thoughts About AFC South

For years, the AFC South has been one of the bottom-feeding divisions in the National Football League.
Finally, that might no longer be the case.
At least, that’s how Julian Edelman feels.
When asked about them, the former Super Bowl champion gushed about this division’s newfound competitiveness:
“Suddenly, the AFC South is a tough division. The Jags are 4-1 right now. Then you look at the Colts, also 4-1. They’ve been a competent quarterback away for the last few years. The Texans, 2-3. I look forward to them going into this bye week and take advantage of that. Then, you got the Tennessee Titans. Look, they’re on the board. Cam Ward is competing his you-know-what off,” Edelman said.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard something about this.
Two years ago, it seemed that this division was on the rise, but both C.J. Stroud and Trevor Lawrence failed to take a leap.
Now, however, things might be different.
Liam Coen has brought life back to the Jaguars’ offense, and they have plenty of young talent to build their game around.
Lawrence has still failed to live up to the expectations, but the talent is there.
Houston, on the other hand, has probably the best defense in all of football.
They need to give Stroud some sort of protection, as while he’s failed to get better, he hasn’t been in a position to succeed either.
The Colts are looking like a legitimate Super Bowl contender right now, and that’s a big testament to Shane Steichen as a head coach and offensive playcaller.
Watching Daniel Jones dominate also speaks volumes about how bad the New York Giants and Anthony Richardson were.
Last but not least, the Tennessee Titans are still multiple pieces away from contention, and they may not have the right head coach.
That being said, Cam Ward looks like an interesting project and, more importantly, a born leader.
