The Los Angeles Rams face a challenging closing stretch with several difficult opponents still on their schedule.

Their path forward includes matchups that will test whether they can maintain their standing in a competitive NFC West division expected to send multiple teams to the postseason.

Despite the obstacles ahead, the Rams have shown throughout the season that they have the pieces necessary to make a deep playoff run.

Former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner recently addressed the question of which team currently stands atop the NFC during a segment on NFL Network.

“I believe the Rams are the best team in the NFC because I think they’re the most complete team. Matthew Stafford’s playing like an MVP. They’ve got two guys on the outside that can go get it at any point in time. They can run the football, and they’ve got a really good, young defense that can get after you. I think they’re primed and ready to get better. I’m excited to see where the Rams finish,” Warner said.

Los Angeles is building toward another championship opportunity with owner Stan Kroenke hoping to celebrate a Lombardi Trophy within the next 100 days.

The foundation rests on continuity across critical positions, with Stafford providing steady quarterback play and a young defense performing well beyond its cost structure.

Head coach Sean McVay has managed first-place schedules before and knows how to guide his team through difficult stretches.

The Rams have maintained their status as annual contenders through organizational stability and a clear culture despite roster turnover in recent years.

After last season’s playoff run that nearly ended the eventual Super Bowl champions, expectations have risen for this group.

The roster includes young players with room for growth at important positions while the team holds significant draft capital for the first time in years.

That combination provides Los Angeles with both immediate competitive potential and long-term sustainability moving forward.
