The Pittsburgh Steelers looked like a juggernaut of a team in the season opener, at least on offense.

Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock and had one of the best games of his career to take down his former team.

However, he also needed help from his kicker to get the job done.

Chris Boswell, who never ceases to amaze, knocked down a crucial field goal from 60 yards out to regain the lead late in the game.

That’s why his head coach, Mike Tomlin, had a hilarious and interesting choice of words to describe him:

“I can’t say enough about [Chris Boswell]. Our kicker is a serial killer. He got a low pulse rate. He can’t wait to deliver,” Tomlin said.

This will most definitely go down in the book of epic Mike Tomlin quotes, but it’s hard to disagree with him.

Boswell might as well be the best kicker in all of football right now, and that’s a lot to say, all things considered.

Long gone are the days in which kickers could be trusted to make extra points and routine field goals, so having a player as consistent and reliable as Boswell is a true blessing for this team.

Like he showed in Week 1, he could win a lot of games for them.

It’ll be interesting to see what this team looks like in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Perhaps expecting them to score 34 points again is a little too much to ask, but they shouldn’t give up 32 points, either.

Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure: Chris Boswell will play a big role, and playing against a tough defense, they might need to rely on his leg to take care of business again.
