Stats Show How Dominant T.J. Watt Has Been Since 2021

For years, the Pittsburgh Steelers have bragged about having one of the best pass-rushers in the game.
T.J. Watt has established himself as a dominant force off of the line of scrimmage, and he’s been atop the league in multiple significant stats.
In the midst of the rumors about his future with the organization, PFF shared a graphic on X that showcased just how dominant he’s been for them.
As shown in the graphic, Watt leads the league in forced fumbles (12), batted passes (14), and sacks (43) in one-score games since 2021.

To make all that even more impressive, Watt missed almost half of a season because of an injury during that span, so his numbers could’ve and should’ve been even better.
Watt has built a strong case for being the greatest defensive player in Steelers history, which is a lot to say, considering the team’s rich and well-documented history of elite defenses.
Unfortunately, his relationship with the organization that drafted him might be reaching a bit of a breaking point.
The latest rumors state that the Steelers saw a decline in his play last season, which is why they’re hesitant to meet his financial demands for a new contract.
Reports state that Watt wants to become the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history, and while his production surely backs that case, his age and history of injuries raise some questions.
Still, he should have no shortage of suitors if the Steelers have no choice but to find him a trade partner.
