The Denver Broncos were one of the most surprising teams in the NFL last season.

Expectations were at bay in 2024, as the team finished with an 8-9 record in 2023, and people weren’t sure how Bo Nix would elevate the offense.

It turns out that he was able to bring the Mile High City to new heights, in a sense, providing a sense of stability and excellence at the quarterback position for the first time in many years.

Now that he’s established himself as QB1 heading into 2025, expectations have shifted.

The general media has been hyping this team up over the past several months, and fans are cautiously optimistic that Nix can bring this team on a deep playoff run.

Nix seems to understand his role within the organization and how much he means to the fanbase.

He mentioned as much in a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, noting that he and his teammates are looking forward to giving it their all when the season starts.

“We are excited to grow as a team, grow as an offense, and see where we can go,” Nix said.

Nix believes in himself, his coaching staff, and his teammates, but there is a massive roadblock in their way.

The Kansas City Chiefs have owned the AFC West since Patrick Mahomes was drafted, a position they’re not going to give up too easily.

Nix and the Broncos certainly have their work cut out for them in a division that also includes the Los Angeles Chargers, but if they’re up to the challenge and can hold their own, this could be a team to watch out for in 2025 and beyond.
