The NFC was wide open heading into the 2024 NFL season.

The San Francisco 49ers were favorites to win the conference and the Super Bowl, but analysts were high on several teams going into the year.

As we now know, the 49ers’ season didn’t go according to plan, mostly due to injuries, and the Philadelphia Eagles ended up winning the Super Bowl, a rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Philadelphia rebounded after a tough first-round playoff loss in 2023, defying what their doubters said, and made it to the mountaintop.

Sportsbooks aren’t sleeping on them ahead of the 2025 campaign, as ESPNBET noted on X.

According to this sportsbook, the Eagles are favorites to win the Super Bowl next season, currently holding +650 odds.

Odds in June don’t typically hold up when the season starts, and this is a fluid number as more and more games are played throughout the year.

The Eagles have lost several players in the offseason who were key contributors during their title run, which could impact their success rate moving forward.

But, with players like Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley in the backfield, arguably the best offensive line in the league, and plenty of other All-Pro-caliber players on their roster, the sky is the limit.

The NFC might be tough, especially with some of the up-and-coming teams in the conference, including their divisional rival from Washington.

If any team is poised to make a deep run, however, it very well could be the Eagles, at least, if 2024 is any sort of indicator for future success.
